Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the conventional multi-frequency base station antenna, the beam tilting angle becomes frequency-independent due to be accomplished by designing the feeding cable length of the conventional phase shifter. The tunable phase shifter that can vary the beam tilting angle in the multi-frequency band composed of composite right/left-handed transmission line is proposed in this letter. The different phase shifts at each frequency is investigated due to the variable dispersion characteristics when the location of the additional patch over the transmission line is varied.
