A DC voltage-boosting antenna for RF energy harvesting in FM bands

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This report presents a DC output voltage-boosting antenna with high input impedance in wide frequency band for RF (radio frequency) energy harvesting of FM broadcasting signals. A target input power level of -20dBm is used to design a folded dipole antenna for DC output voltage-boosting. The RF energy harvesting on YNU campus provides 0.7V DC output for a single rectenna by receiving several FM broadcasting stations simultaneously. The DC output is increased by 20% based on the design of high input impedance antenna and by 3.5 times in multi-signal reception.
