Fabrication of monolithic magnonic crystals and application to highly functional magnetic field sensing

(in English) We aim the development of the high sensitive magnetic sensor with Magnonic crystals(MCs) at room temperature. In this study, we measured the sensor’s sensitivity, dynamic range multi axis sensing and fabricated monolithic structure. Experimental evaluations showed that the sensor’s sensitivity was about 11,400 %/Oe, and the dynamic range was about 1 kOe. Thus the sensor based on MCs has the high sensitivity and the large dynamic range as compared to other magnetic sensors. Possibility of two-dimensional sensing has been demonstrated in experiments detecting two kinds of propagation modes. We could excite the spin wave and develop the Magnonic band gap by magnetic field of the thin SmCo film magnet.
