Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Domain wall (DW) depinning field have been investigated in crossbar patterns fabricated from epitaxial Fe(100) thin films with four-folded anisotropy. The DW depinning field was measured by observing the magnetic force microscopy images after exposing the sample to various external fields. In the present study, the crossbar size dependence of DW depinning field pinned in crossbar junction have been investigated, and compared with micromagnetic simulations. The measured DW depinning fields present the marked bar width dependence as predicted from micromagnetic simulations.
