| (in English) | Recently, small handset antenna has been investigated. In this paper, a small broadband antenna using a composite right/left-handed transmission line is proposed for mobile handsets. First, the gain and bandwidth characteristics of the unit cell are investigated. For achieving high gain at dual frequencies or broadband operation, the operational mode of proposed antenna can be controlled by varying open or short conditions. To verify the simulation results, the proposed antennas with open and short condition are fabricated and measured. | |
