[Special Talk] Development of Broadcasting Antenna Technologies and Future Study Items toward Super Hi-Vision Era (Oral Presentation)

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) History of antennas for terrestrial broadcasting, satellite broadcasting, contribution transmission and program production is described. Especially, on antennas for broadcasting satellites, the evolution of technologies is shown from the shaped beam technology by using multi-horn antenna and shaped reflector antenna to reconfigurable beam technology by using array-fed reflector antenna. Some study items are also indicated for the future Super Hi-Vision broadcasting. The presentation material can be downloaded from http://ap.ei.tuat.ac.jp/index_j.php
