Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, miniaturization of devices is Large impact on the antenna radiation dependent on the ground plane. As antenna not dependent on the ground plane, there is a traveling-wave loop antenna. In this paper, as the loop antenna for the small terminal, propose a single-layer planar structure. By planar structures, there is no need to provide space for antennas on the PCB. And antennas can be mounted on the small gap in PCB and case. Using the FDTD method, confirm the antenna current distribution and operating mode. Also, to determine the relationship to line length and antenna gain of the antenna proposed, analysis parameters to the line length. Finally, by comparing as popular inverted-F antenna for terminal, demonstrate the effectiveness of the implementation of the proposed loop antenna for terminals.
