Plate-laminated Waveguide Slot Array Antennas for 120GHz Band and 350GHz Band

(in English) We design and fabricate a double-layer slotted waveguide array antenna having a wide bandwidth and a high efficiency for 120 GHz band and 350 GHz band using diffusion bonding of laminated thin metal plates. The fabricated 120GHz-band antennas are measured. In a 16x16-slot array antenna, the measured antenna efficiency is more than 70% from 117GHz to 128GHz except around 124GHz where the reflection is large, with a gain of about 32dBi. The 350GHz band antennas are also fabricated and their gains are measured. In a 16x16-slot array antenna, the measured antenna efficiency for the designed parameter is more than 40% from 334GHz to 354GHz with a gain of about 29dBi.
