A consideration of a microstrip antenna array with a stub element fed by a rectangular waveguide

(in English) This paper presents basic operation of a microstrip antenna (MSA) array with stub element fed by a rectangular waveguide. It is revealed that radiation phase of the MSA can be controlled within 60 degrees by a length of the stub as well as by a variable reactance connected to the stub. The proposed array of the MSAs with a stub element for beam shaping is also discussed.
