一般的に使われている電子体温計では,痩身者の腋窩での体温計保持が困難なため,再測定が頻発している.我々は,このような欠点を改善するため,サーミスタが置かれている先端部分に軟性スポンジ等を用いて,腋窩にフィットするような形状の新たな電子体温計の開発を行っている.これにより,体温計を弱力でも腋窩に保持できる反面,形状が大きくなるばかりか材質も熱伝導性が悪くなるため,短時間で精度よく体温を測定することが難しくなってくる.この研究では,痩身者用の体温計を試作し,測定温度変化のモデル式から数値演算的に体温を算出できるようなアルゴリズムを開発した.その演算式より短時間で精度よく目標体温を予測可能にした. |

With conventional thermometers, measuring an axillary temperature of an emaciated person on account of old age or illness is difficult. As they are usually stick-shaped with a thermistor on their tips, those thermometers cannot fit the underarm of a skinny person and give him/her discomfort. In consequence, an accurate body temperature cannot be taken. Thus, remeasurements are frequently performed and causing a delay in today’s nursing duties. To solve the problem, variety of electronic clinical thermometers have been proposed. However, human axilla come in all shapes, and even those thermometers do not fit completely. We have therefore developed a new electronic thermometer that uses an elastic sponge over a tip of thermometer, where a thermistor is placed, to fit the axilla of an emaciated person. The sponge allows him/her to hold the thermometer more easily with weak power. On the other hand, as the size of the thermometer becomes larger while the sponge material makes its thermal conductivity and capacity worse, it is much harder to measure an accurate temperature in a short time. In this study, we developed an algorithm which enables the circuit to calculate the temperature mathematically. As a result, we were able to predict an aiming body temperature precisely as well as shortening the measurement time only by running digital operations with microcomputer. |
