Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Network monitoring is valuable for grabbing the threats in the Internet. The data captured by network sensors will be used to detect a net threat. The way to setup these sensors is difficult to configure to obtain desirable information about the network. In this paper, we describe the relation between the arrangement of network sensors and the information obtained by the sensors. We conducted network monitoring in our campus network and show the details of experimental result.
