A study of signaling protocol for Internet-VPN

Various small computing devices are used for sensor or device controller over the Internet. To control the devices from a center server, secure communication channels are needed between the small devices and the center server.
To apply IP-VPN to secure the communication path, we propose the IP-VPN meta-signaling protocol to controls the VPN protocol itself and the configuration parameters. The use of the signaling protocol decrease the task of the IP-VPN configuration. To separate the treatment of the type of tunneled protocol type from the tunnel setup protocol, the IP-VPN can easily be suited to both the network environment and the application to use the IP-VPN. |
