By progress of video compression methods as typified by H.264/AVC, the Video compressibility rises.
However, real-time processing with existing CPU is difficult because the computational cost is very expensive.
Therefore, we propose a Video transfer system using hw/sw complex, and aim to real-time compression and extension.
hw/sw complex is the way combines hardware with software, and enable to use easily encoding and decodung circuit on FPGA.
The system implements encoding and decoding circuit as hw/sw complex.
Encoding and decoding is processed by circuit on FPGA and it enable to share load.
The paper intend to demonstrate that it is possible to construct the proposed system by using FPGA and effectivity with implemented system.
In addition, in generation of motion-conpensating prediction picture which is a bottleneck on processing flow chart,
we propose a method that reduce the computational cost of searching motion vector by multiresolution template matching
with discrete wavelet transform. In this paper, we expain this method in detail. |
