Trial Manufacturing and Evaluation of the Direction Finder for Passive RFID Tag

(in English) In this report, trial manufacturing and evaluation test results of the direction finder for the passive RFID tag are presented. The antenna aperture is 4-elements array of the circular polarized rectangular microstrip patch antenna. In order to provide electric power to the passive RFID effectively and to reduce responses of many tags, electronic scanning using Butler matrix has been used. Responses from the tag are received by 4-channel receiver, and directions of arrival are estimated by the MUSIC. The resolution and accuracy is 16°and 2° in the fan-shaped area with the radius of 50cm and angle of ±60°.
