この度は総務理事候補として推薦を賜り、誠に光栄に存じます。新型コロナウィルス感染症が5類に移行し、様々な産業で活気が戻ってきました。また、コロナ禍の中、リモートワークは新たな変革の機会と前向きにとらえられ、効率的な働き方を実現する手段へと昇華されてきました。その原動力となり、屋台骨を支えてきたのは、電子情報通信であります。今後、労働人口の低下や環境問題などの社会課題の解決やSociety5.0の構築に向けては、電子情報通信の役割は、より一層重要になるとともに、産官学連携、異分野とのコラボレーションが不可欠となります。本会の持続的発展と新しい社会の実現に向け、これまでの信学会における活動経験を活かし、微力ながら貢献できればと思っております。
1997年東北大学工学部応用物理学科卒業、2009年北海道大学大学院博士課程修了、博士（工学）。1997年日本電信電話株式会社入社。光アクセスシステムの研究開発に従事。2014年より、モバイル向け光アクセス技術の研究開発を開始。現在、同社アクセスサービスシステム研究所グループリーダ。CS研究専門委員会幹事、研専運営会議財務幹事、通信ソサイエティ執行委員会総務幹事などを歴任。
I am honored to have been nominated as a candidate for Director of General Affairs. After COVID-19, we have returned to vitality in various industrial fields. Remote work has been viewed positively as a new opportunity and has been elevated to a means of efficient work. "Electronics, information, and communication" has been the driving force and the backbone of our business. In the future, the role of "Electronics, information, and communication" will become even more important for solving various social issues such as the decline of the working population and environmental problems and for building Society 5.0. Moreover, collaboration between industry, government and academia, and collaboration with other fields will be essential. I hope to contribute to the sustainable development of the IEICE and the realization of a new society by making use of my experience.
He received a B.E. degree in applied physics from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 1997, and a Ph.D. degree from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, in 2009. In 1997, he joined NTT Corporation, where he engaged in the research and development of optical access system. Since 2014, he has been working on an optical network for 5G and future mobile systems. He is now a Senior Research Engineer, Supervisor. In IEICE, he served as the Secretary of technical committee on Communication Systems, as the Finance of Council of Technical Committee Representatives, and as Director of General Affairs of Communications Society.
