Aim of the conference:
JCKBSE'93 is to provide a forum for scientific  interchange among
scientists  in  Knowledge-Based Software Engineering,  an  inter-
disciplinary  area  between Knowledge  Engineering  and  Software
Engineering, mainly from Japan and the CIS countries, on a  broad
spectrum   of  academic  research,  implementation   technologies,
application systems, cultural discussions, and so on.

Proceedings
Conference   proceedings  should  be  published  in Japan  and
will be available at the conference.

Fee
Japanese: $400
   including registration, visa support, proceedings, lodging,
   meals in Pereslavl-Zalesskii and transportation to and from
   the symposium cite.
CIS: $10
   covering registration and proceedings.

   English

Paper Submission
 Authors  are requested to submit four copies of a  double-spaced
manuscript  of  about 15 pages (paper) or  5  pages (short  paper).
Papers  should  be printed on A4 sized paper using  12  pt  type.
Papers must be written in English. Submitted papers are reviewed.
An instruction will be  sent  to  the  authors  of  accepted papers
concerning the final camera-ready format for their papers
to be mailed to Japan.

 Each paper should contain the following information:
    1) Title of the paper.
    2) Name, affiliation and mailing address of the author, e-mail.
    3) Abstract of 100-200 words.
    4) The subject category (the topic) in which the paper should
       be reviewed.
