Watermark Competition
The first watermark competition had been conducted under the evaluation criteria disclosed by the IHC committee. There were 8 submissions for image, and 6 submissions for audio. Their evaluation results were revealed at the special session of FIT2012.




The detail of the competition is explained below.

The deadline of the submission for the first watermark competition was July 31, 2012. Among the submitted schemes, the IHC committee certified outstanding schemes for each categories, and prized respective awards at the special session of FIT2012.

Audio category:  6 submissions (for detail)

There were two schemes satisfying the evaluation criteria. Unfortunately, these submissions missed the deadline.

Image category:  8 submissions

Best Quality: Takahiro Yamamoto and Masaki Kawamura (Yamaguchi University)
Highest Tolerance: Kenji Yamanaka (Osaka Prefecture University)
Granted schemes: 7 (including the above two schemes)
