| 抄録（和） | 本論文では、交換機システム内のプロセッサとスイッチ間における制御情報の通信手段としてATMスイッチ(HUB)を利用した新しい交換機システムについて説明する。このATM-HUBにより、通話路の容量とプロセッサ能力とは、各々独立した設定が可能になる。またATM-HUBの概念はネットワ-クレベルの制御方式にも応用される。統一されたネットワ-クインタ-フェ-スにより、さまざまな種類の処理機能や通信機能を容易に接続できるため極めて分散化されたネットワ-クの構築が可能になる。 |
| 抄録（英） | This paper descusses a new switching system architecture that employs an ATM switch as a control information communication mechanism between processors and switch units in the switching system. By the ATM-HUB, the capacity of the speech path and the capability of the CP system can be set independently. The ATM-HUB concept is applied to network-level control architecture. By the unified network interface, various kind of processing functions and communication functions can be connected easily, even if operating system of the units are different. Therefore sophisticated distribution networking becomes possible. |
