| 抄録（和） | われわれは遺伝的アルゴリズム(GA)を画像認識の探索部分に適用することによって,広範囲な探索領域における濃淡画像のテンプレ-トマッチングを精度良く高速に行う手法を提案している.今まで用いられた画像はすべて2次元画像であった.そこで,本稿では,より広範囲な探索領域をもつ医用3次元画像での探索を想定し,提案している手法に基づいた画像認識アルゴリズムを3次元画像に適用することを検討した.その結果,シミュレ-ションにより3次元空間内における本手法の有効性を示した.また,その応用例として,胸部ヘリカルCT画像における腫瘤陰影の検出に本手法を適用し,良好な結果を得た. |
| 抄録（英） | We have proposed a technique, by which a template matching of gray-level images can be performed accurately and fastly in a large range of searching regions, and in which a genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to the searching part in image recognition. The images that we have used were only 2D ones. In this paper, therefore, we applied our method to 3D images by considering an application to 3D medical images. It was shown based on a simulation study that our method is useful in 3D space. In the application of our technique, the nodule detecion on chest helical CT images is effective. |
