| 抄録（和） | B-ISDNが実現されると,テレビジョン放送をはじめとする各種放送形サ-ビスがトラヒックのかなりの部分を占めると予想されている.放送形サ-ビスでは,同じ情報を多数の視聴者に伝送するので,1対多接続通信となり,従来の1対1通信とは大きく異なる.従って,従来の網構成ではサ-ビスの品質劣化や網構成にかかる費用が増大する恐れがある.筆者らは,放送形サ-ビスがトラヒックの大部分を占めることを想定して,1対多接続を考慮した新しい通信網トポロジ-の階層構成を検討し評価を行っている.本稿では,特に1対1サ-ビスと放送形サ-ビスの接続先分布の違いに着目し,人口分布やトラヒックモデル,各階層におけるトポロジ-等を変化させてコスト計算を行った. |
| 抄録（英） | With the realization of B-ISDN, broadcast services will be a large part of the network traffic. In these services, the same information is distributed to lots of viewers by multicast connection. This service form is quite different from those of current point-to-point services. In this service, current network topologies may lower the quality of services or may increase the construction costs. In this paper, the hierarchical network topology is optimized under the assumption that the broadcast services will account for a large part of the network traffic. The difference between the destination distribution for point-to-point services and that for broadcast services is considered, and the construction costs for various parameters are calculated. |
