| 抄録（和） | コンピュ-タネットワ-クが急速に普及しつつあり、様々なサ-バ-によりマルチメディアの情報提供が行われるようになってきた。しかし、現在の地上系ネットワ-クは中継網の速度が遅く情報転送に時間がかかりすぎる。一方、衛星は同時に複数の対地へ大量の情報を送信可能で、衛星放送の普及とともに各家庭にも浸透している。そこで、衛星回線と地上回線を組み合わせることにより、多地点へのマルチメディアサ-ビスを容易に提供できるシステムの構築を目的とし、遠隔教育を対象としたシステムについて検討を行った。本報告では複数対地へのアドレッシング、ル-チング、不要な情報のフィルタリング方法について述べる。 |
| 抄録（英） | Computer networks are rapidly coming into widespread use and multimedia information is now provided by various servers. However, the bandwidth of existing terrestrial networks is not wide enough for the speedy transmission of multimedia information data. On the other hand, satellite networks have enough bandwidth to easily transmit large amounts of data to multiple points simultaneously. In addition, satellite transmission is being received by many homes in the form of satellite TV.Therefore, in order to provide multimedia services easily and economically, we are constructing a multimedia tele-education computer network system that combines satellite networks and terrestrial networks. In this paper technologies for multi-point addressing, routing and selecting data are presented. |
