| 抄録（和） | ATMネットワ-クの設計、評価において、セル廃棄率特性など、たとえば10^<-10>以下というの生起確率の希事象(rare event)を評価する必要があるが、従来の評価法としての、シミュレ-ションではきわめて長いCPU時間が掛かるという問題があった。本報告では、系の定常性などの条件の下で、条件付確率チェインを用いる方法で短時間に希事象の生起確率を評価する高速モンテカルロシミュレ-ション法を提案する。また、いくつかのスイッチモデルで従来のシミュレ-ション法、実測などとの比較を行いその効果を示す。 |
| 抄録（英） | This paper describes a Monte Carlo Simulation method using conditional probability chain to evaluate the probabilities of rare events,such as cell loss in ATM networks.The simulation method consumes much less CPU time than traditional brute-force Monte Carlo simulations.Furthermore,the applications of this method are not restricted by the network architectures.Some experimental simulation results shows the consistency with other methods and the CPU time reduction effects. |
