| 抄録（和） | 本論文では、VCレベルの復旧を行うVCセルフヒ-リングを提案する。VCセルフヒ-リングとは、交換機故障等により、通信中のVCコネクションに障害が発生した際に、交換機が分散的にメッセ-ジを発生させ、通信中のVCコネクションを救済する技術である。従来のア-キテクチャでは、信頼性を確保するために交換機の各装置の2重化が行われていたが、提案技術を適用したア-キテクチャでは、交換機をシンプルにして、高信頼性を要求するメディアに対しては、網的な接続により信頼性を維持する。これにより、交換機のダウンサイジングが達成でき、メディアの要求する信頼度に応じた網ア-キテクチャの実現ができると考えられる。 |
| 抄録（英） | This paper proposes a VC self-healing scheme with VC-level restoration.The VC self-healing scheme is a restoration technique that can save active VC connections against network failure with distributed control mechanism.In ATM network architecture using the proposed VC self-healing scheme,switching systems can be simplified and a certain level of network availability can be supported by network configurations,while in a conventinal architecure the switching systems must be reliable to guarantee high network availability.Therefore,the proposed scheme is expected to provide network cost reduction effects. |
