| 抄録（和） | 本稿では,2段のEDFAを励起光路に関して縦続に接続された光回路を考え,これが波形変換及びスイッチの機能を持っていることを数値解析により示す.本光学系は,励起光を一つの光源から導き,2段のEDFAを連鎖的に励起するように配置する.このとき,励起光は光ファイバ内の伝搬により減衰を受けるが,減衰率は信号光の入射パワ-に依存するため,励起光の残余パワ-及びこれによって決まる後段のEDFA初段の利得は信号光により制御される.その結果,後段での出力は初段への信号入力とは相反の関係となり,信号波形が反転される.また,この動作は後段への信号光成分の有無がスイッチとなっていることを明らかにした. |
| 抄録（英） | This paper describes on numerical analyses of cascaded-EDFAs in-lined with respect to the pumping light path and discusses on its %eve-form conversion and switching functions.As the pumping power attenuation alone the first EDFA depends on the signal input po%wr,the amplification gain at the second EDF! becomes to be controllable with the magnitude of the input signal power in giving the inverting response:the larger input pomer yields the less amplifier gain and the smaller output povmr,while the smaller pomer input makes the output signal of larger povmr.Note that signal light input to the second EDFA can act as a switch in operating the device. |
