| 抄録（英） | In the world of communication technology,we see two types of inter-person communication systems developing in separate directions.One is the ″telephone″ which basically conducts real-time communications;and the other is computer-mediated communications such as ″E-mail″ which conduct store-and-forward processing.Major differences between these two types of communications are the level of interactiveness(forner holds its advantages here),and the level of asynchronousness,that is the level which people can communicate at his or her convenience(the latter has its advantages here).This paper presents a new service concept called MAIN(the Media-free And Integrated Network services),where users can obtain both high level of interactiveness as well as greater opportunity to communicate asynchronously.We describe MAIN′s system configuration and its method.Future implications of the concept of MAIN in the world of telecommunications services are also,explored. |
