| 抄録（和） | 近年、ス-パコンピュ-タや高性能ワ-クステ-ション間を高速・広帯域で結ぶことのことのできるネットワ-クが注目されている。本稿では、遠隔地のFDDI-LANをATM専用網で接続するFDDI, ATMネットワ-クを対象として、OSI参照モデルのトランスポ-トレイヤ以下のプロトコル処理時間、各レイヤのフレ-ムのオ-バヘッダを考慮してのデ-タ転送速度を解析している。また、この結果を用いて、プロトコル処理時間、送信デ-タ量、ATMリンク伝送距離とデ-タ転送速度との関係を具体的に明らかにしている。 |
| 抄録（英） | FDDI, ATM Networks are widely recognized as one of the promising solutions to the high-speed interconnection among computers.This paper analyzes the data-transfer-speed in the end-to-end communication on the model of the FDDI/ATM networks.In the estimation,two factors are taken into account on the basis of a TCP/IP protocol.One is protocol processing time below the transport layer.Another is the overheads in layer-frames.From the numerical results,the data-transfer-speed performation are clarified on the paramences of the protocol processing time,the transmitting data volumes and the ATM link distance. |
