| 抄録（和） | 加入者網の光化の指針を明確にするため、SS網、DS網の創設コスト、保守運用コストの評価ツ-ルを作成した。配線区域と伝送装置、網形態を入力すれば、設備量、工事量およびそのコストが算出できる。また、保守運用コストは、作業形態に対応した数値設定によりコスト算出が可能である。プログラムはモジュ-ル化構成としたため、変更、追加などの修正も容易である。本ツ-ルによる経済比較の結果、多重装置により光化すると、電話サ-ビスに対してもメタルより経済化できること、経済性から適用すべきPDS網、ADS網とその多重数の区分を明確にし、屋外の光ケ-ブル網形態として近〜中距離のエリアでは初期からSS形態で、遠距離ではSSとDSの併用で進めるのが望ましい等、今後の光化の指針を明確にした。 |
| 抄録（英） | A subscriber network simulation tool has been developed to clarify optical network introduction strategies by evaluating initial and maintenance costs.This tool allows us to output fiber volume and the investment in installing and maintaining the network,if parameters of network area and architecture are given.The costs of double star architectures employing passive splitters or remote terminals were evaluated as well as a single star architecture,and compared those of a metallic network.It is clarified as a basic strategy how the different architectures are applied properly from an economical point of view,including that the central office is suitable for the splitter location in PDS network |
