| 抄録（和） | ワ-クステ-ション,パ-ソナル・コンピュ-タ上での音・動画像等のマルチメディア・デ-タのサポ-トが一般的になる従い,アプリケ-ションにも,より高度な表現機能が求められるようになっている。様々な側面からの研究がすすめられている中で,アプリケ-ション・レベルでマルチメディア表現を扱うために,メディア要素間の制約を利用する方式が注目されているが,本報告では,制約指向マルチメディア表現を分散環境で実現する際の問題点を検討し,マルチメディア通信における重要な概念,特にサ-ビスの質(QOS),との関連について考察する。 |
| 抄録（英） | As support for multimedia data,such as sound and motion video,becomes common on workstations and personal computers,there arises the need for more advanced presentation capabilities in applications software.Within research into various aspects of multimedia data processing,the use of constraints between media components,to deal with multimedia presentations at the application level,is gaining wider recognition;this report investigates issues related to realizing constraint-based multimedia presentations in distributed environments;it also discusses relationships to important concepts in multimedia communications,in particular,Quality of Services(QOS). |
