| 抄録（和） | MCU(Multipoint Control Unit)を用いた多地点テレビ会議システムにおけるグラフィック系メディアの処理ユニットを試作、その効率化を検討した。グラフィック系メディアに用いられる会話型プロトコルに対応するため、疑似的に1対(N-1)の通信を行った。MCUは送信権を管理し、送信権を有する端末からのコマンドをその他の受信端末に分配し、受信端末からの複数のレスポンスを1つにまとめ送信端末に中継する。さらに多地点会議の在り方、MCUの位置付け、多地点通信プロトコルの面から、MCUを用いたグラフィック系メディア処理に関する効果的な通信方式について考察し、処理が簡易で、拡張性に富んだ非会話型プロトコルをベ-スとしたプロトコル構成、処理方式を提案した。 |
| 抄録（英） | This paper describes a processing method of graphic data used in our multipoint audiovisual communication using MCUs (Multipoint Control Units).In order to support interactive protocol usually used for transmitting graphic media,this method supplies one-to-(N-1) communication between sending and recieving terminals through MCUs.MCUs broadcast data from a token holding terminal to the others,then aggregate responces from all the receivers and make an integrated responce to send the broadcaster.We also studied multipoint communication from the viewpoints of conference service,MCU′s role and efficient protocol,and propose simple and flexible systems based on non-interactive protocol. |
