| 抄録（和） | 近年画像符号化方式として、帯域分割方式が注目されている。我々は以前、2種類の多次元多チャンネル帯域分割方式を提案して、その完全再生条件を明らかにした。ここでは、帯域分割フィルタの特性を解析すると共に、符号化利得に注目して帯域分割方式を評価する。帯域分割フィルタとしてはロ-ルオフフィルタを、分割方法としては等分割と対数分割を取り上げた。その結果、帯域分割フィルタにはロ-ルオフフィルタを合成フィルタとして用いると良好な符号化利得が得られることが分かった。また分割方法としては、チャンネル数が少ない場合には対数分割が、多い場合には等分割がよいことが分かった。また、いずれの場合においても、SSKFを用いる従来方式より高い符号化利得が得られた。 |
| 抄録（英） | The subband scheme is one of the most promissing schemes for image coding.We propoed two types of subband scheme and derived the condition for the perfect reconstruction.In this paper,the properties of the analysis and synthesis filters are analyzed and the coding gain of the subband scheme is calculated for various filters.The logarithmic band splitting employing roll-off type filters as the synthesis filters shows better performance than the conventional subband schme with SSKF. |
