| 抄録（英） | Secondly,numerical examples of the optimum band partition are shown for the first order Markov signal with correlation coefficient of near unity,which is approximated to global property of image signals.Data compression performances for the optimum band partition are compared with those for linear and log-linear band partitions,which divide frequency band equally on linear and logarithmic scales,respectively.It is concluded that the log-linear band partition,that is,wavelet transform,has near optimum performance for the signal and about four frequency band division is sufficient for the performance improvement. |
