| 抄録（和） | 分割合成フィルタとして完全復元可能なフルタバンクを採用した画像信号サブバンド符号化方式において、AR(1)モデルに対する符号化利得をフィルタ特性、分割数をパラメ-タとして評価し、実際の画像での評価結果と比較した。この結果、特性を最適化した低次数のフィルタを用い、4分割または10分割にてDCT8次または8×8次に匹敵する符号化利得の得られることを明らかにした。 |
| 抄録（英） | In this paper, the sub-band coding gain using non-ideal filter banks for the liner steady model was derived. Then, it was evaluated especially for the AR(1)model using filter banks allowing perfect reconstruction changing the coefficients of filter banks and the number of division, and it was compared with the measured sub-band gain for sereral images. The result showed that if the number of division was four or ten, the sub-band gain was comparable with the transform gain of DCT with block size eight or eight by eight using low order filters with optimized coefficients. |
