In this paper,we present the results of the simulation software development based on the analytic simulation technique to model a typical digital communication system.It is shown that this simulator results in a number of attractive characteristics:reduced execution time than Monte-Carlo method,highly accurate results and the capability to make a more detailed system model than other methods,etc.At the same time,modular system architecture is selected to adapt varying system model and the graphics technique is extensively used for visual user friendliness.In this analytic model,only 64 bit duration is modeled with 32 simulation samples per bit to cover the end-to-end communication link.Performance outputs from each block include signal waveform,power spectrum,eye diagram and scatter diagrams.BER performance as well as the parameter sensitivity results are readily obtained.The simulationresults compared with theoretical result and a good match between them are verified. |
