| 抄録（和） | ATM交換機用の回線インタフェ-スにおいては、セル処理等の機能の分割を最適化して、できるだけ多くの回線インタフェ-ス回路をプリント基板に実装することが、大容量ATM交換機実現のために必要である。本論文ではこれを実現するため、広帯域ISDNのプロトコルがATM交換機の各部にどのように割り当てられるかをまず述べ、次にスイッチと回線インタフェ-ス間でのATMレイヤのセル処理機能分割方法を説明する。バッファメモリを使用する機能はスイッチで、テ-ブルメモリを使用する機能は回線インタフェ-スで処理することにより、大容量のATM交換機をより少いハ-ドウエア量で効率良く構成することが可能となる。 |
| 抄録（英） | This paper describes line interface circuits for ATM switching systems.A line interface must optimize the assignment of functions such as cell processing,and as many line interface circuits as possible should be implemented on one printed circuit board.To achieve these goals,this paper first explains how the functions of the B-ISDN protocol model are assigned to each part of ATM switching system.Then it explains how an ATM Layer cell can be processed at a switch and a line interface in a way that allows more circuits to be implemented on a printed circuit board. |
