| 抄録（英） | To deal with dramatically growing mobile data traffic and power consumption of networks, Cloud-Radio Access Network (C-RAN) has been considered as an architecture for future mobile networks. C-RAN can be divided into three parts: Baseband Units (BBUs), mobile fronthaul network, and Remote Radio Heads (RRHs). However, the power consumption of C-RAN is directly proportional to the number of active RRHs and BBUs and it depends on threshold traffic load. Therefore, in this pa-per, we minimize the power consumption of C-RAN by estimating the optimal threshold traffic load. Through numerical analysis, we find the optimal value of threshold traffic load. |
