| 抄録（和） | モノのインターネット IoT (Internet of Things) への期待が高まる一方で，\r\nネットワークに繋がった様々なデバイスを介して，我々の生命や\r\n社会秩序に対する脅威がもたらされる可能性があることが指摘されている．\r\n高度なセキュリティを多様なデバイスに提供するためには，セキュリティの\r\n仕組みを内包したIoT向けの運用モデルが必要であり，我々はそのような\r\nモデルとしてソサイエタルモデルを提案している．提案モデルは，\"子供が\r\n大人の庇護下にある\"という我々の人間社会の自然な仕組みを踏襲したものであり，\r\n人間社会の歴史上概ね有効に機能してきたこの仕組みはIoTに適していると考えている．\r\n本稿では，提案モデルの要件に関する検討を報告する． |
| 抄録（英） | From transportation to home and health care,\r\nInternet of Things (IoT) has penetrated almost every sphere of society.\r\nIn the IoT concept, devices communicate\r\nautonomously to provide services. A significant\r\naspect of IoTs that makes it stand apart from present day networked\r\ndevices and applications is a) the very large number of devices,\r\nproduced by diverse makers and used by an even more diverse group\r\nof users; b) the applications residing and functioning in what were\r\nvery private sanctums of life e.g. the car, home and the people\r\nthemselves.\r\nSince these diverse devices require high level security, an operational\r\nmodel for IoTs is required, which has built-in security.\r\nWe have proposed a simple operational model\r\nfor IoT, the societal model. The basic concept of the model is borrowed\r\nfrom human society. Children are protected by adults.\r\nThis natural security mechanism works very well for IoT networks which seem to have weak security mechanisms.\r\nIn this paper, we discuss the requirements of the societal model. |
