| 抄録（和） | 現在普及している光アクセス技術について、研究開発の初期からを振り返り今日までの歴史を述べる。今後の光アクセス技術は、移動通信の急速な発展に向けてROF（radio over fiber）のように無線技術と融合することが必然であり、広く導入されている光ファイバ網の活用によって電波周波数資源を効率的に利用するICT環境を構築する必要があることを述べる。さらに、光・無線融合技術によって可能となる新たなシステムの例、およびこれらの実現に向けて研究すべき光・無線集積技術ついて述べる。 |
| 抄録（英） | About spreading optical access technologies, the history of their research and development activities are presented from the early days until today. It becomes the necessity that a future optical access technology fuses with a radio technology such as ROF (radio over fiber) for the rapid development of the mobile communication, and a construction of ICT environment using effectively radio wave frequency resources by utilizing optical fiber cable networks introduced widely until now. Furthermore, new systems enabled by the ROF technologies are shown as well as integrated optics-radio technologies to be studied for these systems. |
