In conventional analysis a nonstationary biomedical signal is divided into successive locally-stationary intervals and each transient part should be removed. We propose the geometrical interpretation of the transient parts. That is,after we have estimated a plane which contains almost all the positions of the parameter vectors over a transient part,we map again the positions onto the plane which is perpendicular to the previous plane. As a result, most of the loci for consonants except , h/,/g/,/b/,/p/,/n/ line up in each straight line.It is supposed that the loci with respect to the normalized distance on straight line will offer the efficient information of the transient parts. |
