| 抄録（和） | 近年，スマートフォンの普及による様々なクラウドサービスの進展や，各種センサーデバイスがもたらすビッグデータ関連サービスの立ち上がりなどにより，無線トラヒックの急増が予想されている．この課題を解決するため，将来無線アクセス技術の検討が活発化している．ここでは，無線リソースの有効活用の観点から，モバイル向け光ネットワークを含めた検討が重要となってくる．特に，セルサイズの小型化が進展するなかで，基地局装置と無線インターフェースを具備した張り出し装置間を結ぶ光ネットワークの重要性が高まっている．本論文は，将来無線アクセスを支える光ネットワークの最新技術ならびに標準化動向について概説し，併せて今後の展望についても述べる． |
| 抄録（英） | Wireless traffic expansion will continue due to various cloud services utilizing smart devices, and big-data handling services collaborated by sensor devices. To solve this issue, future radio access including optical entrance networks has been discussed. Especially, the optical transmission between the baseband unit and the remote antenna unit with a wireless interface will be a key technology, because the size of the cell becomes smaller, and much optical link is needed. In this paper, technical trend and standardization activity of the next-generation optical network for future radio access are described, and a perspective of optical-wireless convergence access networks is discussed for constructing knowledge distribution society. |
