| 抄録（和） | 近年、災害現場で、カメラの映像から動きを推定する映像オドメトリの需要が高まっている。災害現場では、粉塵や雪等による視界不良や、映像の特徴・模様消失が問題となる。これに対し我々は、ロボットの真下の床面に対して、多方向多色照明による床面形状推定を用いて移動量推定を行う、映像オドメトリ手法を考案した。\r\n 我々のシステムはロボットを遠隔操作することを想定している。しかし、運用環境は必ずしも通信状況が良いとは限らないため、出来るだけ少ない伝送量で位置推定できることが望ましい。本研究では、考案した映像オドメトリ手法において、DCT係数の正負符号(DCT正負符号)を用いて映像情報を圧縮し伝送量を削減する圧縮方法を提案した。これにより、積雪等で模様が目立たない環境において、一般的な圧縮手法として知られるJPEG圧縮と比較した結果、より低い伝送量で高い精度の位置推定が可能となった。 |
| 抄録（英） | Demand for visual odometry to estimate the amount of movement from the video camera rises in the disaster site. In the disaster spot, disappearance of characteristics and patterns in image by dust or snow become the problem. So, we proposed a visual odometry by Localization using shadow under multi-direction and multi-color lighting, using floor image under the robot.\r\n Our system assumes that the remote control the robot. However, the operating environment is not always necessarily the communication status is best. So, we proposed image compression for visual odometry. In this way, image compression using the Sign of DCT coefficient. The proposing method made it possible to Localization of high accuracy with lower Data transmission than JPEG compression. |
