| 抄録（和） | 楠木健教授の「ストーリーとしての競争戦略」のメッセージを一言でいえば，「優れた戦略とは思わず人に話したくなるような面白いストーリーであるべきだ」となる．国や企業の本当の戦略力は，成熟，衰退局面のときにこそ試される．研究開発も，同じではないだろうか．性能や効率などといった従来の定量的な評価軸のみならず，うならせることができるか，驚かせることができるか，魅力的か否かなどといった定性的な軸への転換を図っていくことも大切だろう．このような観点から，わかりやすいストーリーの一つが社会基盤としてのICTといった方向感であろう．都市，環境，農業，介護，交通，資源などのそれぞれの産業にICTを適用したうえで，産業構造，経済構造，社会構造の大きな変革を目指したものである．本講演では，「ストーリーとしての研究開発」の重要性を示すとともに，未来を創るためのICTのあり方を示す． |
| 抄録（英） | The message of \"Competitive Strategy as a Story\" by Prof. Ken Kusunoki can be summed up as \"good competitive strategy should be an interesting story.\" Strategic ability is necessary at the time of maturing phase. ICT Research and Development seems to be in the same phase, and interesting story is in demand. It is important to put more emphasis on attractive quality instead of performance quality. One of interesting stories is the ICT as social infrastructure. ICT can solve many issues inherent in environment, city, water management, agriculture, resource management, and health care, and can change industrial, economical, and social structure. This presentation shows the importance of “R&D as a story”, and the directions of ICT for creating future networked society. |
