| 抄録（和） | 画像の多重尺度解析は膨大な計算量を必要とするため，尺度に応じて画像を階層的に表現し計算量を削減する画像ピラミッドが用いられる．\r\n画像ピラミッドはいくつかの手法が提案されているが，多重尺度Watershed解析による画像構造の記述に適した画像ピラミッドの条件は明らかとされていない．\r\n本報告では，尺度空間におけるWatershed領域の性質から望ましい画像ピラミッドの条件を検討し，その評価方法を提案する．\r\n実験により画像ピラミッド手法を比較し，多重尺度Watershed解析に適した画像ピラミッドの評価を行う． |
| 抄録（英） | Multiscale image analysis requires large computational cost, therefore image pyramid method that is a hierarchical representation of image is employed to reduce the cost.\r\nSome image pyramid methods have been presented, however, it is not clear that which method is suitable for the image structure description with multiscale watershed analysis.\r\nIn this report, we study desirable properties of image pyramid for the multiscale watershed analysis based on watershed region behavior in scale-space, and present a basis for evaluation of the image pyramids.\r\nWe compare some image pyramid methods with experimental results, and evaluate the image pyramid methods. |
