| 抄録（和） | 鳥の胴体にGPSを内蔵する特定小電力無線ICタグ（トキタグ）を取り付け，観測地域に設置された基地局が発信したビーコンを受信したトキタグは基地局へ位置情報を一斉に送信する．送信処理はCSMA/CAを基本としているため，一つの基地局の通信圏内に多数のトキタグが存在する場合，アクセス競合が増加することが考えられる．本稿では，トキタグをいくつかのグループに分割し，グループごとに送信処理開始のタイミングをずらす通信方式を提案する．シミュレーション結果として，提案手法を用いることでアクセス競合による送信処理時間と無駄な消費電力を低減できることを示す． |
| 抄録（英） | In a bird monitoring system, location information of a bird is periodically acquired using a wireless IC-tag (Bird tag) with GPS device, attached on the bird body. In this system, base stations periodically send beacon signals, and all bird tags that receive the beacon from a base station try to transmit the GPS information to the base station simultaneously. Since the transmission process is based on CSMA/CA, access competition increases, when many birds exist within the communication range from the base station. In the proposed method, bird tags are classified into some groups and each group is assigned a shifted timing to start transmission process to the base station. It is shown that the proposed method can reduce the transmission processing time and the power consumption for transmitting GPS information. |
