| 抄録（和） | 波長分割多重技術を適用した光トランスポートネットワークを支える重要な技術の一つにITU-Tにおいて勧告化されているOptical Transport Network(OTN)がある。従来、OTNの主要な役割はSDH信号を直接収容してpoint-to-pointに転送する点にあった。近年、データサービスの発展を背景として、OTNへEthernet信号を直接収容・転送する機能、また、post-SDH/SONETとしての多重化アーキテクチャ提供に対する要求が高まっている。本稿ではこれらの要求に対して検討が進められているITU-T G.709 OTNの標準化動向について説明する。 |
| 抄録（英） | Optical Transport Network (OTN) of ITU-T standard is one of important technologies for the optical transport network applying wavelength division multiplexing technology. In the past, the main functions of OTN have been accommodation and point-to-point transportation of SDH signal. Recently, there is an expectation for OTN that is both accommodation and transportation of Ethernet signal because of the evolution of data service. In addition, it also requires the providing for network architecture based on multiplexing structure as post-SDH/SONET. This paper describes the latest standardization activity for ITU-T G.709 OTN to meet such requirements. |
