抄録(和) Several gateway selection schemes have been proposed that select gateway nodes based on single metric, i.e. number of hops, link availability, link capacity etc. in Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs). In this paper we propose a gateway selection scheme that considers multiple end-to-end QoS parameters i.e. route availability period, route capacity and latency, to select a potential gateway node. The precise estimation and propagation of end-to-end QoS metrics is proposed in this paper. The gateway discovery is carried out by gateway advertisement message (GW_ADV message). Preliminary simulation results are performed to analyze and measure the QoS parameters of MANET interconnected with infrastructure network(s).
