抄録(英) In this paper, we consider \r\npower control for the uplink of a direct-sequence code-division multiple-access data network \r\nusing a game-theoretic approach.\r\nIn the uplink,\r\nthe purpose of power control \r\nis for each user \r\nto transmit enough power so that it can achieve \r\nthe required quality of service\r\nwithout causing unnecessary interference to other users\r\nin the system.\r\nThe power-control game is modified as a Nash equilibrium problem \r\nin which each user can choose its transmit power in order to maximize its own utility, \r\nand a Nash equilibrium is an ideal solution of the power-control game.\r\nWe present a noncooperative power-control game \r\nin which each user can choose the transmit power in a way that each user gets the required \r\nsignal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio level and maximizes its own utility.\r\nOn linear receivers, we deal with the the matched filter and decorrelator receivers.\r\nNext we present a new ergodic algorithm for the proposed power-control game\r\nbecause the existing iterative algorithms can not be applied effectively to the proposed power control.\r\nWe also present convergence analysis for the proposed algorithm.\r\nIn addition, applying the proposed algorithm to the proposed power control for large systems,\r\nwe compare the performance for\r\nthe matched filter and decorrelator receivers, the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio levels and so on.
