| 抄録（和） | 筆者らは，先に従来のPON (Passive Optical Network) 方式よりも伝送距離をのばせると共に，セキュリティ性を高めた，光アクセスネットワークアーキテクチャGE-OSAN (Gigabit Ethernet Optical Switched Access Network) を提案し，MPCP (Multi Point Control Protocol)を応用した光パケットスイッチング方式とDiscovery方式，およびキーネットワークエレメントであるOSM (Optical Switching Module)の構成法を明らかにしてきた．今回，提案アーキテクチャの実現性を実証するため，下り方向の光スイッチング機能を有するシステムを試作した．PLZT光スイッチを実装した試作OSMは，最短のIFG (Inter Frame Gap)内 (96 ns)の所望の位置で10 ns未満のスイッチング時間を実現できた．また，提案する2種類の光電気変換回路とオーバーサンプリングによるリタイミング回路を用いてONUを試作し，要求される64 ns内でのリタイミングを実現できた．本稿では，試作装置の構成，およびその評価結果について報告する． |
| 抄録（英） | We have proposed Gigabit Ethernet-Optical Switched Access Network (GE-OSAN) architecture that realizes longer transmission distances and achieves higher security than the conventional PON (Passive Optical Network) architecture, and clarified the optical switching method and discovery process based on the Multi Point Control Protocol (MPCP) and the design of the Optical Switching Module (OSM). To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed architecture, we developed the prototype system for downstream transmission. The OSM prototype, including PLZT optical switch, achieved optical switching within 10 ns of the designed position in the minimum Inter Frame Gap (IFG) (96 ns). Moreover, the Optical Network Unit (ONU) prototype with two kinds of O/E converter and over sampling retiming circuit satisfied our requirement of 64 ns acquisition time. This paper presents the development and evaluation result of the prototype system. |
