| 抄録（和） | 近年のアクセスネットワークの広帯域化を受けて，テレビ放送のようなサービスをマルチキャスト形式でユーザに配信するサービスが提供され始めている．このような放送配信サービスでは，WAN（Wide Area Network）側に設置される放送局の配信装置からユーザに向けてデータストリームを配信するという形態が想定できる．放送サービスなどは，伝送路の障害などによるサービス中断は許されない．そのため，WANでは，１つの送信ポイントから複数の受信ポイントを繋ぐマルチポイント論理パス経路上での障害検出手段およびパスプロテクションが必要となる．そこで我々は，特にWANなどでよく使用されるリングネットワークトポロジーにおけるマルチキャストトラフィックの障害検出手段およびパスプロテクション方式を検討したので報告する． |
| 抄録（英） | Recently, broadband access network is widely used, and the broadcasting service such as TV program distribution begins to be provided by the multicast method. In the broadcasting service, the form that the data stream is delivered from the broadcasting station set up on the WAN(Wide Area Network) to many users can be assumed. In the broadcasting service, the service interruption due to transmission fault is not permitted. Therefore, the fault detection means and the protection method on logical path of point to multi-point are required in WAN. Then, we report on the fault detection means and the protection method of the multicast traffic in the ring network topology frequently used in WAN. |
