| 抄録（和） | ストリームコードを用いたアクティブネットワークのノードのスループットを測定した。ストリームコードを解釈し実行することによる処理のオーバーヘッドはネットワークノードの性能を有意に低下させるが、その影響は小さいことを示した。また一般的な性能のPCによりFast Ethernetインタフェースの帯域幅を使い切る性能のアクティブノードが構築可能であることを示した。 |
| 抄録（英） | We performed measurements of the throughput of active nodes, which handles active packets with StreamCode. We confirmed that the overhead of CPU processing to interpret the StreamCode encapsulated in each packet deteriorate the performance of active node, but the degree of deterioration was relatively small. We also confirmed that active nodes constructed by PCs with ordinary performance achieve enough .high performance to handle Fast Ethernet throughput. |
