| 抄録（和） | ATM-PONシステムにおいてOLTとONT間の伝送距離を拡大するATM-PONリピータ(REP)の構成法について述べる.まずREPでは再生中継機能,レンジング機能,光バースト信号受信機能,警報転送機能及び監視・制御機能が要求されることを示す.再生中継機能について,3Rが必要であることを示す.レンジング機能について,ONTの変更なしにREPを適用するために,レンジングウインドウ開始位置をOLTとREPの距離に応じて可変にするレンジング方式を提案する.光バースト信号受信機能では,各ONTからのバースト信号を受信するために,グラントモニタによる光信号識別レベル制御回路リセット方式を提案する.警報転送機能について,従来の機能に整合する方式を示す.監視・制御機能について,REPをONTの一つとして管理する方式を提案する.また,REP,OLT,ONTの考え得る接続構成を示し,特にレンジング方式の観点から検討を加える.最後に,REPの設計例を示す. |
| 抄録（英） | This paper describes an ATM-PON repeater that enlarges the transmission distance between the OLT and the ONTs. We indicate that the repeater needs 3R (Reshaping, Regenerating and Re-timing) functions. We propose a new ranging method that sets the start position of the ranging window according to the distance between the repeater and the OLT and uses the conventional ranging window size, to connect the conventional ONTs. We propose that ATC reset timing be obtained by monitoring data grants from OLT which allows the repeater to receive optical burst signals with different intensities. We propose an alarm signal transfer method that has backward compatibility with one. We also propose that the repeater be managed as an ONT. We examine the repeater connection configurations from the viewpoint of the ranging method. Finally, we provide an example of repeater implementation. |
